Inspired by a hand-carved original design, this topwater lure elevates the classic popper with a larger body and an innovative gill system engineered for maximum surface action. Featuring six water intakes and an internal water chamber, the lure channels water through its gills and out to the sides, producing lifelike bubbles and a distinctive splashing and chugging effect that irresistibly attracts bass.

Four of the intakes direct water through the gills to create surface disturbance, while two additional intakes channel water into the lower chamber, generating enticing bubbles beneath the lure. This unique system functions like a lip, using water pressure to prevent the lure from skipping across the water and helping it stay grounded for faster, more controlled retrieves. When paused, water flowing from the chamber causes the lure to raise its head, mimicking natural prey behavior and enticing strikes.

Versatile in action, it can be fished as a conventional popper or with gentle rod-tip movements to perform a dynamic roll-walk, combining the best features of both poppers and walking baits. Ideal fishing spots include rocky or riprap banks, grassy beds, and shallow points, especially during early morning hours.
